Join us at Whitetail Woods Nature Preserve on April 17th from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM for a special Flower-A-Thon guided hike led by Matt Trokan. Established in 2008, this scenic 15-acre pristine preserve is known for its giant river cane break, restored woodlands, and impressive displays of larkspur and other wildflowers.
We will meet at the Rocket Labs parking lot at 5880 Hillside Avenue and hike about 2.5 miles over sloping terrain. As we walk, we will document numerous blooming wildflower species and learn about how our restoration efforts have improved the habitat and our vision of a connected wildlife corridor.
This event is a perfect way to connect with nature, celebrate spring, and see firsthand the impact of community-led conservation. All experience levels welcome!
