Western Wildlife Corridor hike with President Tim Sisson

Time – 9am to about noon
I was thinking of doing something a little different Wednesday. First we’ll hike the slope above the house to check out the fall colors (for an hour or so). Then we’ll do some easy upkeep on the outside of the house and the yard. The window frames have blobs of white various places that look bad, so I’ll get some paint to touch them up. There are also a couple of places where the rain gutters need repairs and of course, the gutters need to be cleaned again. Tom and Ted, do you remember any other light repairs we could work on?
The address is 2 Main Street in Addyston. To get there from north and east of Addyston, go west on Cleves Warsaw into Addyston, where the name changes to Main Street. Continue past South Road – there is a storage building on the corner on the right, then a stone wall with an opening for a driveway flanked by large stone pillars. Turn in the driveway – this is it!
If you are coming from the west or are close to Route 50, take 50 into Addyston and turn onto Dinning Lane, the small connector street opposite Ineos. Go right on Main, go past First and Second Streets and continue up the hill then down the next slope. You will see the stone walls and opening with the large pillars on your left (this is it again). If you get to South Road, you just passed it.
For this hike, bring water to drink and wear work clothes and work shoes. If you want to help with the upkeep, bring clothes appropriate for that. Call me at 513 922 2104 if you have any questions.
