data-end=\"474\">Located near Rapid Run Road, the preserve protects forest habitat, native plants, and wildlife as part of the larger effort to create a connected wildlife corridor along the Ohio River Valley.<\/p><p data-start=\"476\" data-end=\"923\">Western Wildlife Corridor was able to purchase and protect Rapid Run Nature Preserve with support from a <strong data-start=\"581\" data-end=\"619\">Clean Ohio Conservation Fund grant<\/strong>, along with generous contributions from donors, members, and community partners who believe in preserving natural spaces on Cincinnati\u2019s west side. Their support helped ensure this land would remain protected as habitat for wildlife and as a peaceful place for people to experience nature close to home.<\/p><p data-start=\"925\" data-end=\"1339\">Today, Rapid Run Nature Preserve serves as an important site for habitat restoration and volunteer stewardship. Restoration efforts have focused on removing invasive plants, improving trail access, and enhancing wildlife habitat, including work around a wildlife pond.
